There are a lot of people uses the gases which affect in the environment. They don’t have enough information about the harmful of these gases. We can’t begin to halt this problem until we address the root causes of this crisis: population, consumption, and equity. Is stopping have children is the solution to stop the global warming? I don’t think that is right idea because we have other factors to reduce the increasing of the temperature. He thinks the government must make new rules to force them to decrease the footprint. I agree with him in this point.

In April 2006, Abu Dhabi took a bold and historic decision to embrace renewable and sustainable energy technologies. Abu Dhabi is increase its considerable resources and skill in global energy markets into the technologies of the future. Masdar is a city in Abu Dhabi which designed by British architectural firm foster and partners. Masdar means the source in Arabic language. This city will depend on the solar energy, other renewable energy sources and zero carbon. This city is managed by the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (ADFEC). There will not use cars, smoke and any pollution source in Masdar City. This city is being building 17 kilometers east-south-east of the city of Abu Dhabi, beside Abu Dhabi International Airport. The total area of the city is about 6.4 square km. In my opinion, this city will success because our environment is one of the pollute environment around the world.

Cool Cities and Abu Dhabi's development

Cool cities:

Cool cities are one of the best projects to reduce the effect of the global warming. This kind of the project has big purpose. Cool cities are reduced the number of diseases. The first of these cities was Novosibirsk, Russia; the second and most prominent was Tsukuba Science City, Japan. There are a lot of cities in US. There were about 200 cool cities. Cool city has a perfect system to recycle the waste produce so that the city will be kept in a clean environment.

Four steps to establish cool cities:

To establish a cool city, there are four main steps to build a cool city.
1. The mayor has to inquire for the agreement from the government to reduce global warming.
2. To conduct an inventory of your city's current global warming emission
3. To make a plan of how to reduce emissions while lowering energy costs for the city.
4. To implement and monitor progress because a plan alone cannot cut global warming pollution

Abu Dhabi's development and cool cities:

Abu Dhabi is one of the best cities in the world. It is developing very fast. The government of Abu Dhabi has announced to develop the Emirates. There are a lot of projects which are the islands. They focus in this kind of project because it away from the pollution which is increased the global warming. Some of these islands are:

The saadiyat Island

The Saadiyat means the island of happiness. The Saadiyat Island development has been described as an intention to create an "up-scale cultural district to enrich Abu Dhabi". Saadiyat Island is expected to become Abu Dhabi's cultural center as the Louvre museum.

Al Lulu Island

It was also rumored that Al Lulu Island was going to be a tourist destination for a Disney theme park during the mid-90's. After several plans which were subsequently dropped, the island is now being developed by Sorouh as a mixed commercial and residential project.
